Mobile tyre fitting saves you the one thing nobody has enough of — time. Our vans carry the same kit as a full tyre shop: hydraulic tyre changers rated to 24-inch rims, 2D dynamic wheel balancers, nitrogen inflation, OE-spec torque wrenches, and a stock of the popular sizes for cars, 4×4s, and vans. Whatever a workshop can do for a tyre, our van can do on your driveway.

The process is identical to an in-store fit. We jack the vehicle on the manufacturer's lift points (no driving on flats, no risk to your sills), remove the wheel, dismount the old tyre, machine-mount the new one, balance it dynamically to ≤5g per wheel, refit at correct torque, set pressures to the door-jamb specification, and reset your TPMS sensor. Old tyres go back to our authorised processor with a recycling receipt.

2. Book a slot
Same-day if you're in KT8/KT7/KT10/KT12. Pick a 1-hour window that suits you.
3. We arrive in a marked Surrey Tyres van
Technician in uniform, fully insured, all kit on board. We'll show you the new tyre before fitting.
4. Fitting on your driveway
20-45 minutes for a typical car, 45-75 minutes for a 4×4 with 21" or 22" wheels. Balancing and torque-set included.
5. Pay on the spot and we leave
Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer or cash. Receipt emailed. Old tyres taken away for authorised recycling.

Mobile Tyre Fitting — your questions, answered

Is mobile tyre fitting more expensive than in-store?+

No — pricing matches our workshop. Some national chains charge a £25-30 mobile fee on top of the tyre price. We don't. The tyre is the tyre; the fitting is the same standard whether we do it in the workshop or on your driveway.

Can you fit run-flat tyres mobile?+

Yes. Our vans carry the heavier-duty equipment needed for run-flat removal and refit, and our technicians are trained on RFT-specific procedures. Common BMW, Mini and Mercedes RFT sizes are held in stock.

Will you fit tyres I bought online?+

Yes — we'll fit any roadworthy tyre you supply. £30 per wheel fitted, balanced, including valve and disposal. We do reserve the right to refuse tyres that are visibly damaged or past their date-of-manufacture safety window (10 years).

What about 21" or 22" wheels on my Range Rover?+

Routine for us. Our vans have lifts and torque tools rated for 2.6-tonne SUVs and 22-inch fitments. We do mobile fits for Range Rovers, X7s, GLS, Q7 every week across KT8, KT10 and Cobham.

Do I need to be home?+

No, as long as we can reach the wheels and you can pay remotely. Some customers leave keys in a safe-place; we fit and call when done.

Can you fit on the side of a busy road?+

Yes for hard shoulders, lay-bys, and supermarket car parks. Live carriageways — call us and we'll advise on safe options. We carry hi-vis and warning triangles.

What's the difference between you and Kwik Fit mobile?+

Kwik Fit Mobile is slot-bound — you book a half-day window and they may arrive at any point inside it. We give you a 1-hour window and stick to it. We answer the phone 24/7; Kwik Fit Mobile is daytime only. And the technician you get is the same family-trained team every time, not a different shift worker each visit.

Do you do nitrogen inflation?+

Yes — included at no extra cost on every mobile fit if you want it. Nitrogen holds pressure ~30% longer than air over a year. Not essential, but a nice-to-have.
